Open House: Springdale Station

Let’s talk about why Open Houses are such amazing opportunities. Open houses are events where a venue will host, alongside several vendors, an event that in a way looks like a “fake wedding” for couples who are planning their special day to attend. And what better way to visit venues than when you get to have a little taste of what your own wedding could look like! And you actually get to taste food and drinks as well, which is a big plus!

Why I love Open Houses? First, you get to tour venues and get a chance to experience how they could potentially look like on an actual wedding day. Second, it is an amazing way to connect with vendors in the area. From catering services who bring samples of food, bar services who offer samples of their cocktails, bakeries, photo booths, dj or bands who create a fun environment, to wedding planners and rental companies who will decorate and set the spaces as they would in a real event. Third, you can get so much inspiration from them! Inspiration for how to set tables, what rentals to get, how to do floral arrangements, and even the smallest details you hadn’t even thought about yet!
